Positive: Top Location right under Trosky Castle.

Negative: Saddest breakfast ever experienced. Understaffed - in the afternoon the only waiter had to wash dishes and couldn't tend to the guests. We had to wait 30 minutes before getting our dinner order in. At breakfast there was one helper that was completely overwhelmed. Breakfast was out 30 minutes late, without coffee or tea being offerd before. Most power sockets in the room were turned off - no way to charge our electronics. Wi-Fi was present, but the password nowhere written - We have Wi-Fi, but don't want our guests to use it. All in all it makes the impression that the owners bank on their monopoly location and don't care much about their guests and staff.

Positive: Fantastic localisation just in the middle of the area. The room and hotel quality was quite good, for a tourist trip you don't need anything more. The owner was very nice, additionally he helped me with a bike problem.

Negative: It was noisy in the evenings. I go sleep late, so it was not a big deal, but it can be a problem for some.

Summary: I was staying there for a bike trip around Czech Heaven.

Positive: Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Great location for the castle and marked footpaths from the hotel - can buy a map at the castle.

Negative: Beds not that comfy and room quite basic - was jam packed with beds - yet more expensive than other places we stayed. They don’t take cards! You need to pay in cash or do a bank transfer.
