Summary: Hotel Tugu in Malang is not a hotel for me, it’s a cultural experience, everytime I’m in Indonesia I only fly to Malang to have the opportunity of staying in this lovely and cozy property which I call my second home, (restaurant it’s an incredibly sensory overload journey) reception staff always give me the best tips to enjoy attractions around as I love hiking and volcanos

Summary: Very Nice historic building. A bit expensive ( price should have included breakfast). Great staff at reception. Very walkable from train station and other key points of interest

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Tugu Malang. The building is unique and gorgeous, and filled with very interesting decorations and artifacts. They offer a free guided tour of the hotel to explain some of the history about these decorations and artifacts. The staff is very attentive, the rooms are nice and have character, the hotel is environmentally conscious, and the food is excellent. The hotel is in the center of Malang and within walking distance of things to see such as Kajoetangan Heritage Village.
