Summary: It was a pleasant change to stay in a smaller hotel that had a family feel about it, as opposed to a large soul- less corporate hotel. The staff were friendly, pleasant and courteous. My room was very nicely decorated and filled out, and the en-suiute was spotlessly clean and looked as it it had been recently installed. I also had the benefit of a terrace that I could sit out in. The hotel was very convenient for walking in to Macinaggio that has numerous bars and restaurants to be enjoyed and there is a really safe swimming beach just north of marina. The area is a complete treat and comes highly recommended . Martin Cannon

Summary: Nice stay in the Cap Corse but 4 stars to be reviewed. Staff at the bar rude and impolite - I took a drink and wanted to pay by card. At first the terminal was taken and finally I paied by card but I heard the comment that we don't pay by card for one drink...I'm sorry but either you say that it's not possible or you let me pay but I don't want to hear the comments. Apart from that nice and clean room. One swimming pool available - the other one that is described is not available for everyone. Free parking in front of the hotel. Nice breakfast. Near the center of the village.

Summary: Reasonably comfortable room but the stairway and passages were a bit gloomy and not very fresh smelling. Staff were helpful and spoke good English

Summary: Overall it is very good. Sensible price. The host is very friendly and nice. The room is clean and cozy. At a few good restaurants near the hotel, you can enjoy great sea food.

Summary: Good sized room overlooking one of the pools. By far the best of the four hotels we stayed in on our holiday. Very good breakfast.

Summary: Breakfast was rather ordinary however the 2 evening meals I had at the hotel were very good and actually provided better value than the nearby places to eat. Each member of staff made an effort to be cheerful and helpful. All spoke English to some degree, most of them did so very well. All in all very happy with the hotel. The only negative to be aware of is the cost of taxis (€120 from the airport and €100 from Bastia town after 7pm) as there are only 3 buses in and out of Macinaggio each day.

Summary: While this modern hotel has relatively little 'cachet' - which many charming Corsican hotels do - it was nice to be somewhere (for a change) where everything worked, etc. It was also convenient (walking distance) for the little port of Macinaggio, at the NE end of Cap Corse.
