Positive: The property was beautiful. We got to see the sunset 2 times for our stay and it was amazing. Climbing the tower for even better views. The rooms were big and the buffet breakfast was delicious.
Negative: There wasn’t anything negative about this place.

Positive: Restaurant wait staff was super friendly and front desk staff was very helpful! Food was delicious, both dinner upon arrival and breakfast. View is unsurpassed. A very special place for a day or two.

Negative: Awkward power sockets wouldn’t fit UK 3 pin plug or my 2 pin European adapter. Receptionist refused to transport me with my luggage to Uetliberg Terminus - said they would transport the luggage but passengers were limited to those who were old or disabled. Though there was still space for a passenger. This was quite frustrating.

Positive: Staying at Uto Kulm was truly a unique experience. Since it’s located in a car-free zone at the top of a mountain, it offers a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. There are plenty of scenic trekking options around, and the free shuttle buses make it very convenient. The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, and the panoramic view of Zurich both from the mountaintop and the room is simply breathtaking.
Negative: Nothing at all.

Positive: The views of the mountains, lake and city were stunning, picture perfect
Negative: The location is not convenient if you want to explore Zurich, you have to get a 25min train from Zurich HB and then walk 10mins up the mountain which is a bit of a nightmare to do everyday. The train is expensive too. If you want to get food outside of the hotel & not pay the expensive restaurant prices then you have to go back into Zurich as there are no nearby stores and you can’t get food delivery. The staff were not that friendly especially at reception and in the restaurant. The breakfast was very basic and had barely any variety which you would expect for £200+ a night. The spa area was also not that great considering the price paid for the stay. The cleaners forgot to put toilet roll in the room, to top up coffee creamer and to top up the coffee/change the cups and teaspoons. On the last day a cleaner walked into our room without knocking or announcing themselves. Such a shame as the view was perfect and it could be a great place but the attention to detail and warm welcome was definitely lacking.
