Positive: We stay at Hotel Versailles everytime w e are in Colorno. Its a wonderful full service hotel conveniently located to ALMA. The facilities are clean and comfortable. Front desk service is professional, friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Hotel Versailles!

Negative: My room had a tobacco smell even though I asked for a non-smoker one. Some of my clothes got the smell and everytime I was in the room I could feel it

Positive: The room was comfortable with an en suite bathroom with a good shower. Great private parking: plenty of room to park your car opposite the entrance. The staff were helpful and recommended three restaurants in town. The room had a fridge: as I had a packed lunch for the following day I turned it on and used it!
Negative: There was a smell of cigarettes in the room which has stayed long after the fact that you can't smoke in buildings anymore, possibly because of the fitted carpet? I had to open the window as the smell was quite powerful. Unfortunately, it was the only hotel on booking.com anywhere near Gussola where I was doing Cambridge exams the following day. Next time, I won't be using booking.com for the area. On my way in I found plenty of hotels much closer to Gussola than Colorno (25 kms!!!).
