Negative: Smoke from restaurant below balcony came up to our balcony so couldn’t always sit outside.

Positive: The proximity to the station was great. We were catching the Glacier Express in the morning. The staff were very friendly and we were given very good advice about where to park our car the next day. The room was basic but very clean and large. Breakfast was lovely.

Positive: We liked the proximity to the train station and restaurants and it was a bonus to have a balcony. We also liked the staff who were very helpful and friendly. There was a good choice at breakfast.

Positive: Decent sized, comfortable room with all necessary facilities. Wide range of hot and cold items at buffet breakfast. Popular restaurant with relatively reasonably priced menu. Easy access to central area and station. Traditional atmosphere as befits its name!
Negative: Location next to railway station makes some noise inevitable if windows left open. Lack of parking spaces but inexpensive public parking within 400m.

Negative: Shower over bath but no non-slip mat, needed to be very careful getting in & out.

Positive: Absolutely everything! The location, being able to park the car and feel it was safe, Brig is awesome, makes for a really safe and fascinating alternative city break. The proximity to the station; lovely little attentions to detail, how you like your eggs etc. as for the views of the mountains… just brilliant. 100% satisfied.
Negative: Nothing at all, it’s awesome and such great value for money!
