Summary: Very convenient to train station. Our stay included a Basel Transit Pass which made it very easy to connect by tram to the Viking dock. If you are staying overnight and arrive or depart by train its a great location.

Summary: Surprisingly good standards, close to superb communications. Friendly staff. The only thing lacking is a well lit mirror, on the wall, infront of the desk so that female travellers can have the option to sit down to do their hair and makeup. A comfortable chair with backrest is also missing.
