Positive: Parking and check in was easy.
Negative: Staff not overly friendly or polite. Our "standard double" was the.tiniest room I've ever seen! Access to n one side of bed only. Feet and head against a wall. Absolutely no room to open 2 x luggage. Just could not deal with such a tiny space so for an extra $63au we upgraded. Much more room, but directly outside our window (and I mean within 2 feet) was the hot tub for guests!. No privacy at all unless windows and curtains closed. Tiny bathroom, handsoap only provided, breakfast was minimal, only hot option was porridge (no eggs, beans, bacon etc)so for $370au was very overpriced. Definitely wouldn't stay there again.

Positive: We liked being so near the water; great for fishing off the dock. We visited two great coffee houses within walking distance, and an adorable community park. The hotel’s chicken coop is great entertainment for kids and koi pond and breakfast “cave” are kinda cool. We did not try the hot tub or sauna.
Negative: We were expecting to like this place more. The whole property is dated and in need of maintenance. Our tub liner was peeling badly, among other small needed repairs. The biggest problem for us was the inability to open the bathroom door while taking a shower/bath. There is no fan and we were instructed not to let the steam out because it sets off the fire alarms. While some may enjoy natural mineral water in their private bath, the strong sulfur smell was choking in a confined space with no ventilation. Both breakfast and dinner were mediocre; breakfast space was crowded and disorganized.
Summary: Meh. Did not meet expectations.

Positive: The staff was very friendly and although the breakfast was on the cheaper site it had a lot of fresh fruit. The room was incredibly clean
Negative: The room was somewhat dingey. The mattress was old and worn out. I could feel the springs through it. I would wish that they had cups big enough to actually fit the teabags they are offering during breakfast.
