Positive: Having the pool to fall into when we arrived on a very hot day was wonderful. Staff very friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus to and from the airport/train station was most welcome. Bed was also very comfortable. Great breakfast buffet.

Negative: The air conditioning in the room struggled a bit so it was quite warm overnight. The dinner was just ok and a bit overpriced.

Summary: Comfortable hotel close to airport with shuttle bus and pool.

Positive: As a MXP transit hotel this works well. The hotel is a well restored attractive period building. Bedrooms are large, everything works and location is 5 minutes from the airport. Shuttle about 15 minutes wait. Continental breakfast is adequate and is available from 6.00am.

Negative: Breakfast limited with basic selection.

Positive: The staff were very lovely when I had to ask for bedding for the extra bed we asked for and when the shower didnt seem to have a working fan that turned into a bit of a sauna.

Negative: See above. The meal and the bar were very overpriced but this was our last night in Italy after a trip of many mishaps and a very unreliable car rental company. We were determined to have a good last night. 😀 It was difficult to experience the villa at its potential because of weather and that is no one's fault and our small room for three adults was maybe too cosy. I had envisaged a balcony room when I booked a such long time ago. Life was busy and possibly my own error at booking.
