Positive: Great proximity to the airport, comfortable beds, effective blackout shades, delicious restaurant across the street, gas/convenience store one block away, nice walk to waterfront for views and birdwatching. We were offered an amazing upgrade from a quad room w/ shared bath to a family apartment (2br, private bath) - so generous and really impactful for our family to have that extra space.

Summary: Comfy Hotel Vogar and cute Vogar town exceeded expectations for our family of 4.

Positive: A good place to stay for one night. It’s close to Blue Lagoon and convenient for catching an early flight the next day. The staff is friendly and helpful with room upgrades. The bed is comfortable.

Positive: Easy drive to the airport for an early morning flight. We were upgraded to a family apartment with private bath, when we originally booked for a shared bath.

Negative: It’s a bit old and run down, but everything that we used worked fine. There isn’t much in the area, like restaurants, gas or convenience store, but those things are only a short drive away.
