Summary: The hotel was in the middle of the mountain. Breath taking views from the balcony. Authentic chalet style hotel. Toilet could do with a curtain though. If you have your own car would definitely recommend choosing this hotel. Staff was very friendly.

Summary: Easy location to get to and beautiful environment. Room was nice but a couple of small things. There’s no way to close off the entrance to the bathroom. No door or curtain. Would seem to be an easy fix to offer more privacy. Also, do whatever reason, there was a huge fly problem. At the check in desk and in the restaurant were a ton of flies. When we opened our patio doors to get fresh air and enjoy the views, flies came in. We ended up killing about 20-30 flies through the night after shutting all the doors and windows. Other than that (may be a season issue), we had a nice stay.

Summary: This hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The view from our balcony was that of a postcard. The room and property was very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. We feel so lucky to have found this hotel and experience everything that it has to offer.

Summary: We stayed there for the weekend because we knew the location but never spent anytime there. It is a really beautiful old hotel, that has been nicely renovated a few years ago I think. Everybody was really friendly and the breakfast buffet was moderate but enough for us. The room was a little small in our opinion but manageable.

Summary: Great alternative to Lucerne and Interlaken. Only a short drive off the main highway between these two cities. Hotel was more economical, quiet, friendly, and had an amazing view when the weather was nice. Very nice breakfast. Delicious gourmet dinner available — but a bit higher priced. We also had a large rental van so their parking lot was convenient. Wi-Fi worked great. A unique place that we would choose again. Loved it!
