Positive: Such a great place to stay. Near town square. Able to walk along the lake - so easy from the hotel. Reception warm and so helpful - taking us to our room and not just pointing the way. Loved the apartment though restaurants so plentiful we did not use kitchen facilities. Loved everything- especially the mattress. Such a great couple of nights

Positive: Breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit and vegetables, local meats and cheeses, homemade omelets with vegetables and cheese, and lots of choices of fruit juice and coffee. My daughters enjoyed hot chocolate. Plus there was the delicious local bread rolls with seeds. The room was large and we enjoyed the balcony that looked onto the quaint village. The owners went out of their way to make our stay feel like we were at home. They answered two long emails even before we arrived. They offered a laundry service so we could wash our clothes halfway through our stay. They allowed us to pet their adorable cream golden retriever! Also, the owner showed me how to use to Wolfgangsee card so I could ride the bus and train to Salzburg for free. This alone saved us a lot of money. There is a lovely lounge where you can relax, and also coffee and tea and snacks are provided during the day. There is a grocery store near the hotel where you can buy delicious food for lunch, which we stored in the fridge in our room.
Summary: Our stay at the Hotel Zimmerbrau, nestled in the mountains, left us feeling peaceful and refreshed.

Positive: The breakfast was good. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-appointed. It is a family business and you can tell that the owners take pride in their facility.
Negative: It is a bit difficult to see the hotel as you are passing by it.
