Summary: This was an extremely expensive hotel for what was offered. I had a tiny room, single bed against the wall, with only a TV and hairdrier, no fridge, no coffee facilities and it cost A$250 per night (US$160, Euro 142) that is outrageous. Not recommended.

Summary: Very friendly staff, amazing location on canal. Room was large and very comfortable. Restaurant is excellent. Had dinner there two evenings and tried five different dishes - all delicious. Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away.
