Summary: This is a small very nice and cozy hotel close to the sea. It have everything we needed for a weekend getaway! We got one of the newly renovated room and it was fresh and the bed was very comfortable. And the bathroom floor was heated which is very nice as well. Nice spa with a big outdoor pool, 2 small outdoor hot pools, an indoor hot pool as well and a big sauna. We were lucky as there were no other people almost the full time we were at the spa. The breakfast was good, a typical swedish hotel breakfast. The surrounding area was beautiful as well for a nice walk. And lastly, nice costumer service! Tuva in the reception was very helpful and service minded. We will definitely come back to this place!

Summary: This hotel was perfect for us. We enjoy being outdoors and stayed in winter. Although a beautiful hotel we felt comfortable walking in in our outdoor boots and coats and the hotel had a quiet, relaxed feel. The staff were excellent, quiet, friendly and hard working. Nothing was too much trouble. The spa area was spacious and relaxing. There was no one there when we went but it did get busier later in the day. There are no tea be coffee making facilities in the rooms but you can buy hot drinks from the bar and drink them in the lounge (by the open fire). Breakfast was delicious - lots of locally sourced and homemade products and I finally got to sample sea buckthorn! It is a hotel where a lot of care and thought has been taken and this is reflected in the environment and service you receive.

Summary: I have never stayed in Skanör before, but when I for the for the first time did, I was pleasantly surprised. Hotell Gässlingen is a small charming hotel which combines the old charm of the building with functional purpose. Quiet and comfortable around the hotel, lovely long walks in the surroundings and for those who want, you can take a swim in the pool, or a treatment in the spa area. (Didn't do any Spa treatment myself, so I can't give any comments about that.) The sea is about 10-15 minutes away, with nice long sand beaches. The bedroom was ok, just large (or small) enough with a comfy bed. There were blinds in the window so you could make the room dark, which is important in Sweden during summer nights. The breakfast is superb, containing freshly baked croissants and pastries, scrambled eggs and bacon, salami and herring, cheese and ham, fruit compote and youghurt, apple juice and other home made juices, etc. I just couldn't taste everything. I travel extensively and have around 100-130 hotel nights a year. This place is on my top 10 list!
