Positive: The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. It was great having a kettle with tea and coffee provided. lovely bathroom as well. We had breakfast there one morning and it was absolutely delicious.

Negative: The vaporetta from the airport dropped us at the furthest stop on Giudecca and the walk was long with heavy luggage - although this is no fault of the hotel. If, like us, you are unfamiliar with Venice, you must be aware that the accommodation is on Giudecca which is an island across the way from Venice, so you have to catch a vaporetta every day to get to Venice proper.

Summary: Loved the accommodation. Would highly recommend it.
