Things to see and do in ConnemaraClifden Castle is located 700 metres from this self-catering holiday home, a ruined manor-built c. 1818 for John D'Arcy, the local landowner, in the Gothic Revival style. The castle was uninhabited after 1894 and fell into disrepair.
