Positive: The location was conveniently near the expo centre. It was very clean and tidy. There were TV’s in each room though we only used the main one in the living room. The fridge/freezer was plenty big for the four of us to use and worked great. And there were enough pots, plates and cups and such for us to cook and eat while there which is always helpful as we have a lot of dietary restrictions between the four of us. There were lots of towels and facecloths for our use as well. They send the door code to get in plenty early before our check-in and we had no issues coming and going. They also managed to accommodate an early check-in for us even if, in the end, we had delays on our end that made the standard checkin work anyway. All and all we were well pleased with our stay and the feedback provided in the ‘did not like’ section are minor changes needed to improve a person’s stay.
Negative: I’d requested scent free cleaning but when entering there was a strong smell of pinesol or some similar scented cleaner having been used. I had to take extra antihistamines for the first couple days but we opened all the windows as much as we could to air it out. There was no paper towel or kleenex (facial tissue) or dishwasher detergent provided. There was not enough toilet paper provided for 4 people for 4 night stay. Let alone the 6 people we could have slept there. We had to go buy our own. There was only one small throw blanket for each bed, not a proper blanket or duvet for if a person got cold. There was some kind of rhinestone on a black adhesive strip stuck to the one blanket, though the rest of the bedding seemed fine. The stairs to get up to the property from the side walk were awkward, slightly slanted and cracked and steep in height with no railing. There was a standard coffee pot to brew coffee but no complimentary coffee supplies so we had to go buy some. We also had to go out and buy a small toaster to make toast. I had to send a message to ask about wifi because no code was provided. There is no light in the entry or living room when you walk in leaving you to enter in the dark. The dual lamp in the living room was unplugged as the on/off switch on the map doesn’t work, had to unplug and plug it in to turn it on and off. The only part of the lamp that seems to work at all is the small angled portion which should be able to adjust direction for where to point it but that ability is broken as well. One of the chairs at the table, the back feels like it’s coming off. There is an iron hanging on the back of the bathroom door which is odd and it comes off/shifts easily. Not sure why it isn’t just in the same closet that the ironing board is in. There was no A/C which we knew. However the property said they would provide fans which they did not. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot while we were there so we didn’t actually need them.

Positive: very kind and accommodating host :) location's pretty much close to everything - downtown, and key spots like the mall and grocery stores. in-street parking. quiet neighborhood. really nice kitchen - with utensils, plates, and pots, 3 bedrooms with tvs on each room, and washroom with towels. a wide living room with tv and a sofa too. perfect for family or friends on vacation :)
