Summary: Mr & Mrs Grasso were really nice but Mr Grasso did not respond to any emails until 2 days before we got there. He does not speak English but we could have sent a message in French. The pool was not heated but was not an issue but the pool does need a good clean especially round the steps. Internally the house was exceptionally well fitted with what looks like some particularly expensive items but was quirky, e.g. one bedroom door would not shut, toilet door would not fully open glass windows between master bedrooms meant a light on in one lit up the other. Overall I would recommend mostly because of the location, i.e. walking distance to beach and restaurants and splendid views and the privacy of the house. It should be noted that when approaching from the west of the lake the house is actually on a cul de sac and my sat nav tried to send us up a flight of steps.

Summary: Nice house close to lake with very good walking trails nearby. Covered area outside was ideal for dining and we had all our meals there. Good size heated pool. House was well equipped. However thin stud wall between 2 of the bedrooms allowed no privacy. Also upstairs bathroom bath squeezed Under pitched roof and not very usable. Bathroom with shower was downstairs. We also did not have Wi-Fi for first week as it was broken and owner did not know Wi-Fi password.

Summary: The house is perfectly situated. It provides peace, privacy and attractive views of the lake and mountains, yet the cycle path, restaurants, beach and lake ferry are all within easy walking distance.

Summary: An ideal property for our family of 6 (kids age 16-10). Lots of space and a great outside area Fantastic location to explore the Alps. Cycle path very close and easy to get to. You can walk to the lake which is great for water sports.

Summary: Nothing disappointed when we arrived; both property and grounds are very generously proportioned and the garden is surrounded by mature trees, ensuring privacy. It doesn't feel like a holiday home as it really is a stylish, personalised home. Spectacular views are framed through every window and the pool and pool house are a luxurious extra. We found it to be in a great location as Lake Annecy is a bustling place, but this property is elevated away from the main road, and at the other end from Annecy itself, so you can stay and have your own space, but you're not too far from shops and eateries. It was a really special holiday and we would love to return.

Summary: Great stay in lovely property with fantastic pool. Clean and well located to beach and lake. Stairs were a little tricky with toddler but otherwise was a great useable space for all our family and we all loved our stay here.
