Summary: Property had everything we needed for a family holiday. It was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Ideal location as was situated in private wooded grounds within short walking distance to a Supermarket, pharmacy & other shops. Buses ran regularly from the end of the road to Bayonne & Berritz. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We needed a “home base” for two weeks. Family wedding in Basque, family events in Biarritz and many other local travels. We knew the weather would be slightly hot and likely rainy so we wanted a place with AC. Got it here :) Philippe was the best host we have ever encountered! If we needed any little thing he was there to provide that item. Most everything needed was at this beautiful house already. We did need a bit of direction here and there which Philippe was there to provide. Although we did not use the pool it was gorgeous. And it was very well maintained along with the house and the grounds. The house is spacious and beautifully laid out. The grounds are lovely and wooded. The wall and gate that surrounds the property provides security (as does Philippe being near by). Having a washer, dryer and dishwasher was very helpful to us. Anything one could possibly need was provided…ironing board, drying rack, some paper products, tv cables, etc… The nearby markets, bakery and pharmacy are so convenient. We sometimes walked there and back. We hope to return soon to this peaceful paradise. Thank you Philippe for providing a beautiful and worry free place for us to stay. 🙏

Summary: We had an amazing stay at this incredible property, and the photos do not do it justice. It is beautifully laid out, close to all amenities and on an easy bus route through to bayonne and biarritz.. Pool was glorious, and the weather helped of course! But super space, very comfy beds in all the rooms, fantastic kitchen and wifi. We would highly recommend this to all our friends and family.. lots of memories made. Thank you Philippe!

Summary: This is an unusual rental in that it is more comfortable, more attractive and better equipped than advertised. Owners are delightful, patient and very helpful. A great location and perfect for couples or families.

Summary: We stayed here with our 3 grown up children and their partners. We had a fab time! The position was perfect- 30 mins walk from the lovely city of Bayonne. There was a bus stop a few mins away too. The buses are great and very cheap. The pool was great. The supermarket a short walk away was perfect for all our needs - the fish, meat and cheese counters were superb!

Summary: This house was perfect for a family group with four adults and four children, including two teenagers. The pool is great, local amenities are convenient with a supermarket two minutes away. The host is very welcoming and helpful. Overall a very nice place to stay in the Pays Basque.

Summary: We had a fantastic family holiday at Philippe's beautiful villa in Saint Pierre D'Irube. The location is great - it is in a secluded area with a long driveway back from the main road set in magnificent woodlands and yet it is only a 5 minute walk from a supermarket and other local shops such as a pharmacy etc. It is also a short distance from the lovely city of Bayonne and only 20-25 minutes from Biarritz and Saint Jean-de-Luz. The house itself is very spacious and catered for all our needs (we were a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 kids). The stand-out highlights are the beautiful swimming pool in the back garden and the lovely seating area out front where we had many barbecues. Philippe and his family live in the house next door and they were always available to help us with anything we needed. They were a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this villa for a family holiday and we hope to be back soon.
