Summary: John greeted us very friendly. He is an uncomplicated and very nice host and landlord and we felt very well cared for. The house itself is absolutely what the ad promises. We (parents and three kids) recovered well there. The surroundings are very beautiful, although it is a pity that the village bar has closed. So you have to drive to Olonzac to get among people. All in all, a very good experience with a top price-performance ratio.

Summary: Fantastic part of the country and beautiful village. Just needs a bar (that’s open!). Maybe I’ll go back and open one myself! Picture postcard cottage with a wonderful terrace in particular. We enjoyed the absolute tranquility of the place.

Summary: The house is an ideal place for people looking for silence, rest and privacy. The house fully corresponds with the description, but be aware, upon entering the house you will be surprised. Every day you will discover some detail that makes you smile. You feel the spirit of the owner, a charming friendly guy, who has restructered and furnished it himself with as result : a wonderfull place for living. The little village, with its narrow streets is nice and quiet and ideally situated to discover the region. This region has a variety of places to visit, all within short distancies : historical cities, seaside, varous types of landscape. We really enjoyed a relaxing week at “Les Volets Verts”.

Summary: We have just returned from ten days holiday in this property it was amazing. Everything you would need for your holiday in France. If you enjoy walking or cycling the surrounding area is very good lots of small villages.

Summary: This cottage is large enough for a family with 3-4 children or perhaps two couples with 2-3 kids between them. One bathroom. Separate loo. Very well equipped for a comfortable holiday. Good generous living spaces, particularly in the warmer months as the patio would come into its own for shared meals. Kitchen facilities good. Good heating including the wood fired heater. The cottage is very attractive, quirky (in a good way) with plenty of character. It feels welcoming and homely. Very clean. You do need to park in the street that runs one over from the cottage. This is not a problem but be aware that you may not be able to drop your luggage to the door. John was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about the region. He was an excellent host. Cesseras is small but beautiful and full of interesting nooks and laneways. Only one shop but this has most of what you need. One cafe with surprisingly good quality and economical meals - don't be put off by the low key appearance. British pub style but better than anything we actually had in a British pub!! We used this as a base to visit Minerve and Aigne but there is so much more to see in this area. Great restuarant in Aigne called La Cagarole. Highly recommend this as a holiday base. We loved it.
