Summary: This place far exceeded our expectations! This is likely the last trip our oldest son will take with us and we wanted to make some awesome memories here before heading off to the beach. Mission accomplished! The river was so much fun to paddle around and jump into using the tire swing (at our own risk of course). We got food at KP’s food truck nearby and everything was delicious, try the shrimp po boy and give Finn some pets! We drove over to Wakulla Springs and got to see manatees one day and then to the St George Island Lighthouse the next. This home had everything we could have needed and more! A kayak, canoe, outdoor shower to rinse off, brand new dock, and a fabulous porch. The shower essentials were also a pleasant surprise. We are already hoping to come stay again next year on our trip down to Pensacola.

Summary: We were very pleased with the place. Our rating of 5 pretty much says that. The only thing that we could gripe about was the fact that the boats under the house had not been cleaned or used in a long time. They were covered with spider webs, and had tall weeds growing around them - not exactly the kind of place you wanna go digging around, when there are snakes around. I think the boats should be cleaned, then put on some kind of raised platform where they could be easily accessed. Still, boating on the river was not on our must do list, because there are so many great places to go and see nearby. We will be back

Summary: Highly recommend. Clean, comfortable, private, and conveniently located. Nothing lacking ---- with the exception of cookware. Only frying pans in this rental.

Summary: The primary attraction for our reservation was to use the included canoe on the river. Unfortunately there is a steep 4 to 6ft embankment that prevented us from using the canoe.

Summary: We stayed here and drove to the game in Tallahassee. It’s a great family option if you don’t need to be in the hustle and bustle of a game weekend in the city. We preferred waking up to the river view and quiet location to maximize time with the family.

Summary: My Wife and I spent an amazing week at River Bend cottage. Not only did we enjoy the surrounding area but we spent a couple of days just relaxing and fishing at the cottage. The place was extremely clean and well stocked. I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here. The well equipped, large kitchen made it great for hosting dinner for relatives we have in the area and the location right on the river was superb. We did some fishing and were catch and releasing catfish using just cut up hot dogs. We have already booked here again. Looking forward to it.
