Summary: Thank you for a lovely week in the Luberon - the house is exactly as the photos suggest. Beautiful interiors. It was comfortable with lots of ways to keep warm given how early in the year this was. It was a lovely surprise to find that the village still has a bar, epicerie and patisserie. It was great fun exploring local villages and enjoying the views of the beautiful Luberon. We’d love to return Thank you Pierre-Stefan (and Nadine) for your welcome and help. We’d also add that we didn’t visit any wineries (vineyards) so can’t score that aspect of the review.

Summary: This property is fully equipped and has plenty of space. The location of the property means it remains cool even on hot days. The village has plenty of character and yet is not too busy. The local bar is very welcoming and the village shop well supplied with fresh bread and other essentials. Several other beautiful villages are a short drive away. The town of Apt is worth a visit too. There is plenty of hiking close by, some from the village and some in the Luberon, which can be seen in the marvellous view from the roof terrace of the property. The host Christophe stayed in good touch with us and was very happy to offer advice. We had a fabulous holiday, thank you!

Summary: This house is a treat - spacious, very personal decor, everything working well, kitchen well equipped, fabulous mountain view from the top floor terrace, friendly and helpful neighbours. Village itself lovely, very laid back and quiet and a great location for trips into the surrounding area.

Summary: The house was just great - quirky and full of character. It’s on 3 levels (four if you count the basement) and the top floor has a roomy balcon where you have swifts for company and glorious views over the Grand Luberon. There’s a decent grocery store in the village and a very pleasant cafe/bar. Can highly recommend both house and village but beware the church bells which chime on the hour & half-hour, day and night.

Summary: We had a great time in Saint Martin de Castillon. The house was really nice and clean. The terrace view is amazing and the location was perfect for exploring the region. Check in and check out was simple. We really enjoyed our time here!

Summary: A very large and well kept property. Everything there you’d need. The rooftop view is amazing ! St Martin is central to many places and well worth staying.

Summary: We had a short but very nice stay in this house. A warm welcome by the Christopher late in the evening was our arrival in France again. The house shows that the owner tried to keep its character and its history into our time - very nice. There are so much interesting details in this typical provencal house! You will find all things which you need for a pleasant stay. The nice village also a typical bar and a small "general store" of need something else. Thank you Pierre for saving this house!

Summary: This is a beautiful, well cared for property. All the rooms are spacious and the whole house is tastefully furnished and decorated to a high quality - it really feels like a home. The terrace has a lovely view and is perfect for eating/drinking in the evening. Since the village is pedestrianized our children were safe to go out and explore by themselves. They enjoyed using the local pool and also the pools in Cereste and Saint-Saturnin-Les-Apt. The Bar de la Fontaine is a pleasant place to sit for a drink, and we also had a nice pizza dinner there one evening. Pierre Stefan was always quick to answer any questions I had before our stay, and he provided a lot of helpful information. Christophe the caretaker was friendly and welcoming and lives nearby. I would highly recommend this place to others and would love to go back myself!
