Summary: This cottage was clean and modern, had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Also had lovely views as it was up on a hill. Nice big windows, comfortable beds, washer/dryer. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking lodging in Northern Iceland!

Summary: These Cottages felt brand new and were contemporary and sleek with an incredible view. Ours slept 8 people so it felt luxurious with just 4. While expensive it felt worth it and was a good base for activities around Akureryi such as Mývatn, Hverir, and Húsavík. Only minor negative is that it’s on the outskirts of town but it only takes 7 minutes to be in the center. Check out the Akureryi Sundlaig it’s great for kids as well as adults if you like warm pools and hot pots.

Summary: Gorgeous view overlooking the fjord. Well-appointed kitchen, plenty of space, comfortable beds. Very conveniently located less than 5 minutes from Akureyi. We loved the large windows and peaceful surroundings.

Summary: The cottage looked down at the fjord and the town of Akureyri nestled in it -- a lovely view. The cottage was roomy and came with a good set of amenities, including a propane bbq, which was a very nice addition. It's got lot of space (easy for 6, and can even do 8) but only one double bed, the rest are singles.
