This secluded, air-conditioned, well-appointed property is 90 miles from New York City, and five minutes from the Hudson River. This home and surrounding property is also available for weddings, events and location filming. The very large living room with beamed vaulted ceiling has a stone fireplace for cozy days and nights. Move outside to the spacious decks to enjoy our Hudson Valley skies and beautiful private wooded surroundings. There is a fire pit outside to enjoy the beautiful evenings. The eat-in kitchen and dining room with deck and gas grill make entertaining fun. The arbor covered front deck has wheel chair access to the double front doors. Your master suite has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and a large bathroom with shower stall. Two more bedrooms are on the main floor, one queen size and another with two twin sized beds. There is a spacious hall bathroom with double sinks and privacy for the toilet and tub/shower area. The downstairs fireplace is surrounded by a large, entertainment area, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a full size bathroom with tub and shower. The home is equipped with High speed Wi-fi, internet, telephone within the US and 65" Smart HDTV. Large windows in all rooms give the feeling of being in the middle of the trees. Summary: We came to the area for my niece's wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious home. The house is very private and surrounded by stunning trees. The large windows and outdoor decks allowed us to enjoy the gorgeous views while sipping coffee or eating a meal. Our host, Mikki, could not have been nicer and gave us great recommendations for places to see and dine. At her suggestion, we went to a wonderful Bavarian restaurant, The Gunk Haus and had a fabulous meal. We loved our stay and look forward to returning.

Summary: So glad we stayed at this beautiful farmhouse nestled in the woods. Cozy but with enough space if needed. Appreciated the welcome bag of local apples and yummy donuts. Would definitely and will come again!

Summary: Omg. One, the property is beautiful. We did our wedding pictures and first look on the property. It was gorgeous! Two, the owner is absolutely amazing and sweet. The house was beautiful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend! It's worth it. The memories that were made at this beautiful house will be with us forever ♥️!

Summary: Five fifty-something friends from high school stayed in Lloyd for a long weekend. The house is more rustic than upscale but very clean and all appliances, etc. worked. There are lots of places to "hang out" - two outside dining spaces, comfortable living room, inside dining space). The location (close to the Roosevelt home and library, the walking bridge in Poughkeepsie, etc) is great. The check-in was a bit confusing as there are two houses on the property. The owner seeemd annoyed we had to bother her to figure things out on arrival.

Summary: The house is just right for folks looking to get together for a few days of catching up in bucolic surroundings that are convenient to the necessities. It gives a very Ice Storm-like feeling in terms of décor and layout, and the house comes with pretty much everything you’d need (and if something is lacking, grocery stores and the like are 10 minutes away). The deck lends itself to shared meals and conversations outside, and it’s got enough space for a small group of friends, a family, or perhaps two groups if you utilize the downstairs social areas, bedroom, and bathroom.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. House was well equipped in kitchen and bathrooms. There were several bugs in house but that’s to be expected with the location. We are from the country so the location felt a bit like home.
