My home has it all! 180 feet of waterfrontage, deep water (10 feet at end of pier), water toys, fishing gear, 2 large floating islands anchored off the pier (during swim season), 4 One-Person Kayaks, 1 Paddleboard, 4 Person Aluminum Rowboat with Oars, 12X30 Screen Porch, 12X65 Deck with gorgeous lake views, Kids Playground, Large Beach area with two hammocks, beach chairs, huge firepit, cornhole board and a separate beach area with Volleyball/Badminton net and game equipment.
7 Bedrooms (6 with Queen bed and one with Full bed and two sets of bunkbeds), 4 Full Bathrooms (Master Bedroom has private bathroom with huge walk-in shower and large closet), Large Kitchen on Main Level, Smaller Kitchen on Lower Level and 4 Person Table, Huge dining room table on Main Level with seating for up to 16, High-Speed WIFI, 100+ channel cablevision on six TVs with ROKU, two living areas (living room with 22 foot tall window wall looking out at lake with two couches, chair and 55" TV upstairs and den with couch, TV, and woodburning fireplace downstairs), Wii game system, woodburning fireplace and sliding glass door to outside patio and pier). All 7 Bedrooms have their own TV.
There is also a seating area on the screen porch with loveseat, two chairs and large TV and dining table which seats 6. On the lower lakefront patio, you will find a loveseat and chairs with another beautiful view of the lake.
Giant Rec Room downstairs has pool table, ping pong table, board games, toys, books for kids and adults...the list goes on and on and on!!!
A rowboat with oars in provided for your use. There is a private island only a five minute row away that the kids will love to explore!
If you ever need a condo on the beach, please take a look at our 3 Bedroom 2 1/2 Bath condo directly on the beach with 4 pools, sound access with community pier and boatslips, as well as two bikes for your use during your stay at Vrbo 1578779. You can't get closer to the beach than our condo!

Summary: This was our first vacation to Lake Gaston as a family. Normally we would vacation at the mountains or beach. This house had everything we needed, especially for the children. The kayaks available, the beachy area down by the water, and the deck and porches really made the space seem even larger. Luckily the weather was great while we stayed at this house, but if we were stuck inside there was plenty of room to spread out. I would say the pictures of the kitchen/living room area are actually larger than what it looks like online. It was a great space for the entire family to hang out during the evenings. I would definitely recommend this property and hopefully we will be able to rent this location in the future.

Summary: Terribly disappointed. Very dirty, pet hair everywhere, dirt on floors, etc. Kitchen counters not cleaned off. Not enough linens for us. The list goes on. For what we were charged for cleaning, not worth it. Would not recommend this property to anyone.

Summary: We have stayed here quite a few years running in the fall. The grandchildren have a great time with the Wii, kayaks, etc. We always enjoy our weekend here.

Summary: We had all of our family together in this large home. My only wish was a larger table for sitting at dock. Daniel was a great host!

Summary: Inside was nice. Potential to be great. Cobwebs, dirty oven. Outside very thick cobwebs. Both decks and front porch needed a good sweeping, sand dirt twigs cobwebs. There are lots of trees though so I could see some but I think it was more as if it hadn’t been swept in a while. Downstairs toy room a nice plus for littles. Never used the side screened porch, or the decks didn’t come on vacation to clean someone else’s rental house. Lost a bedroom for the last 2 nights due to a bed breaking which had previously been glued back together. That was when we got a “wow” reply and communication stopped, it had been awesome till then. We still had a good time, kids loved the pier/deck at the water they went around clearing spider webs because there Nana was upset about them. But we all enjoyed the water, brought our jet skis and rented a pontoon so it was a great time. Bothers me the house was not wiped for the webs and 2 nights paying for 7 bedrooms I only had 6.

Summary: This was not our first time staying at this home. It is absolutely perfect for our friend group. Enough seating for everyone. Open floor plan so we are all together. The best is the dining table that seats 14. We all ate together and played games together. Daniel was very accommodating and great to work with! We love this house so much that my family also stays here at other times.

Summary: The property was as described, photos a bit deceiving with regards to proximity of neighboring homes in the cul de sac, as well as the two lane highway across the lake and subsequent road noise. The layout of the home was perfect for our extended family. The owner was quickly responsive from rental to checkout. We enjoyed our family get together and were very appreciative of being allowed to include multiple family dogs without breed/weight restrictions often found with many VRBO property rentals.

Summary: I book this house every fall for a weekend for my husband, children and grandchildren. This year it rained most of Saturday, but between the ping pong, pool table, Wi, air hockey, games, etc. everybody stayed happy! We are a large family, so the 7 bedrooms is wonderful. Also, the large dining room table! I don't believe there was anything that we had to run out to get because it wasn't there. A great place to stay.
