Summary: The cabin is located on a beautiful cove. Morton and Furbish were great communicators. The cabin was warm and cozy for two people. The new hot water heater just poured out hot water which was welcome after the hiking did in the rain. The downsides need mentioning. The walk to the dock was steep, tough for my wife’s new knee. But the view from the dock was memorable. The cabin had at least one mouse meaning food had to carefully stored and all the pots, pans, and silverware had to be washed twice, before and after use. There was a roof leak, did I mention the rain? The oven thermostat was off, or working, we made cookies at 300 F and still almost burned them. The stove elements were so loose that they were almost dangerous to use. Even on the biggest one, the pot for pasta could not be kept upright. There was a light with a bad switch (loose wire) that just flickered away and could not be used. It was the kitchen one where food prep was done. I believe this is already being fixed. Morton and Furbish were absolutely great about all of this and we would use them again, but not in these cabins.

Summary: Perfect weekend getaway. Camp was beautiful and clean with everything we needed. The view was spectacular. We cannot wait to return. The realty company was extremely helpful and made sure that we had all the info we needed .

Summary: We loved our time in your cabin. With Rangeley Lake a few steps away, we paddled around using one of the available canoes, sat on the dock, and listened to the loons' call at night. A very relaxing experience. The cabin was clean and incredibly well stocked. Our young son had fun sleeping in the loft. We are hoping to return to this magical place on future vacations.
