3 Bedroom Cabin in Doniphan

Come check out the beautiful Ozarks!! This newly built cabin sitting in a private serene setting is surrounded by over 81,000 acres of government land that can be hunted and hiked on. You have Current River boat ramp access less than a half mile away! When you get in the the 4 person hot tub with the beautiful view it will be the most relaxed you'll be all year long!! The cabin has everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen, linens and a Dish TV account.
This cabin is very secluded and we recommend 4 wheel drive all year round due to gravel road access and a large gravel hill you have to climb to get to it. It is about 25 minutes West of Doniphan so you'll want to pickup your groceries on your way in. There is no WiFi at the cabin but we have great LTE service with Verizon.
The cabin has 3 full beds, one small twin pallet, along with a futon and a couch in living room. Pit boss pellet grill and pellets for your use.
*Hot tub will be turned off and drained June - September 2023*

Summary: This property is great! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The driveway, well that was tricky. 😀. It was definitely clearly explained in the posting but still gave me anxiety! Overall this was a great getaway and beautiful property!

Summary: We had a great time in this cozy cabin surrounded by trees and beautiful tree-covered hills. The cabin had the basics and was very clean. The master closet even has cedar shelves to add to the fresh cabin feel :). Enjoyed the gorgeous vista lookout from the deck with an early morning coffee. I will mention, though, as noted in the cabin description, there is a tough gravel hill you must drive up to get to the cabin and our minivan didn't make it. This was after lots of rain, so I'm sure that didn't help. We ended up parking on the street at the bottom of the hill and walking about 5-6 minutes to the cabin. Despite this, we still had a good time. The property manager was friendly and responsive and it was a pleasure doing business with him. Thank you.

Summary: The property is amazing! The view is incredible. The owner is easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend. You have everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time off of the grid, including a pellet smoker, fire pit, and hot tub.

Summary: My mom, sister, niece, and I came down for a quick float trip for 2 nights, not enough time to review properly. The house is lovely, and well appointed. The host very responsive and provided great instructions for getting to the house. The Pro's of the house: The view! The hot tube would be great; however, it was 104° when we visited, so we did not avail ourselves of its use. We could & did spend hours on the deck outside watching the stars twinkle without all the city pollution. Very comfortable living room furniture...although we did not tryout the futon. Nice kitchen, with all you need for your stay. Washer & dryer, we did not use due to the shortness of our stay, but the homeowner did have detergent/bounce available. 2 bathrooms for 4 women...a must. DISH TV. Our T-Mobile service worked. The Con's of the house: The hill that you must battle to get to the house and then go down to leave the house. The rugs are a tripping hazard, they curl up at the corners...because of my 81 yr. old mom, we rolled them up out of the way for our stay. I did not find the master bedroom mattress to be comfortable, but for such a short stay nothing could help I could feel every spring (sort of a Princess & Pea situation) ...it would benefit from a topper, if not replacement. The others had no issues with their mattress. No lamps in bedrooms, only overhead lighting...as a reader that is inconvenient. This home really is beautiful and would be ideal for a stay & play in the surroundings. As the welcome states, this is a great house for hunting...wide open views and heavily forested.

Summary: Amazing property, just as described. The deck was amazing, so peaceful. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay, much needed peace and quiet. Host was wonderful as well, responded to all of my questions immediately. Couldn't ask for more.
