Positive: Guy was a lovely host, this also applies to his housekeeper. Sorry if that is the wrong description of her. He offered drinks to us and also some evening food if we wanted. Brought us up a cup of tea when we first got there. Lovely touch. There's a lovely dog called Winston, a beautiful dog. Very friendly. The room was amazing and the bed very comfortable. It was a lovely break for us for 3 nights while in the area visiting family. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Guy.
Negative: The house was beautiful and in a glorious setting, peaceful and relaxing. Only slight downside was getting to it late evening after seeing family as it was a lot of back lanes etc in the dark and then a very bumpy gravel path to the house. But that's not a complaint. It's just how it was. It was a bit of an adventure shall we say!
Summary: Just a very enjoyable break somewhere very different than we would normally go to.
