Summary: Great location in Ghent. However, very noisy overnight, sometimes all night. Bar revellers having a good time, so no qualms there. However, hundreds of bottles being emptied into a receptacle of sorts at 03.30, is something you don't normally experience in the UK. There kitchen would benefit from a couple of additional mugs. Two was inadequate for a party of four. Smaller coffee cups were available, but not really suited for tea drinking.Finally, the clear "en-suite" panelling took some getting used to. You needed to be careful when walking to the wc if you opted not to switch on a light on. Overall very good, but with a few minor tweaks could be even better.

Summary: The apartment was in a perfect location with everything within walking distance. It is also very pretty. Unfortunately towards the end of our stay the heating stopped working and it got rather cold. We didn't reach out to the owner as we were leaving anyway soon. Some instructions on where to drop the trash would have been useful as it was required to remove it ourselves.

Summary: Superb modern property in Gent. Perfect location (and the building actually features as part of a tour on the Visit Gent website, but I will not give away too much about that!). Lovely rooftop balcony and top floor, which is a sun-trap so can get a bit hot in high summer

Summary: This is an airy, beautiful apartment filled with natural light in the very heart of Ghent. It is across the street from a church and very near bars, restaurants, canals and shops, so it's very easy to get to everything you want by foot. This apartment does sit right above 2 bars, so at night it can be pretty noisy, so bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to sound.
