Summary: Lovely hotel. Excellent staff on reception and in the bar. Housekeeping could be better as could breakfast.

Summary: In a heatwave Aircon is worth a lot. This hotel is modern and the basic fabric is good. Details however are poor - windows that don't close properly, courtesy trays not topped up for example. Staff are pleasant but lack focus so we had to play hunt the towel in the spa. Staff comment was " Someone must have used them". So, replace them! On checkout there were no staff around so I dumped the key ( I'd paid the bill the day before) only for a waiter to rush over demanding room details.

Summary: Lovely room and hotel, a long downhill walk to the centre, you have to pay to use the pool. Great breakfast in a stylish setting.

Summary: Clean, spacious room. We can see the town of Rouen with its cathedrals and can even watch the sunset from our room. The staff members were super helpful and very friendly.

Summary: We stayed over May day so that may have had an impact on the stay. This hotel has all the ingredients to make an incredible experience, great rooms, in a freshly built / restored hotel. The issue is that the setting is the experience. The staff are lovely but are just not as incredible as the setting. If you eat in the restaurant, the Chef though is very gifted, you will have to hope that nothing happens to your food on it’s journey to you. Expect a good stay and you will not be disappointed but if you are hoping for exceptional you may be.
