Summary: We had a reservation for a room with a king bed, check in was at 3pm, a wedding and a travel tournament was checking in at the same time with one person at the front desk. Rooms were not ready at 3:45pm so they had to continuously go check if a room was ready before they could check anyone in. We had to switch rooms from a room with a king to a room with queen beds in order to get ready and catch the shuttle. Later that night, the bar could not print receipts for anyone that was there. The next morning during checkout, I was told that only a manager could print the bar receipts after the fact and they wouldn’t be in until noon.

Summary: I chose this hotel because I wanted to stay on the Wilmington Riverfront. It was so serene and quiet making my stay so relaxing and peaceful. Hyatt Place rooms are more spacious than a typical size hotel room. And there are museums, restaurants, wildlife refuge and even mini golf in walking distance.

Summary: Have stayed here many times since we have family in Wilmington...it is nice being right on the riverfront with the nearby restaurants and walking opportunities. This visit was subpar in several ways but mainly due to staff indifference. Joe at the front desk was outstanding . Our main disappointment was in the breakfast offered. It is now an option at a cost and if we had paid for what we did get complimentary we woud have been very disappointed . Two out of three AMs the coffee was empty. Certain utensils were empty and had to be asked to supply. The fruit was not refilled when almost empty and one day all of the juices were at a low level. I am pointing this out as if you pay for a breakfast, it is expected to be worth the price. Our room was satisfactory and the cleaning staff were fine.The entire hotel is clean and has all the amenities that you need. It was just that breakfast!!!
