Positive: The views, room amenities, staff helpfulness are all pluses to the Hotel Hydra. When I chose the hotel, I knew it was up a long path with many stairs. However, the views at the hotel and the surrounding sights made the walk worth it. The signage is good so it is difficult to get lost. The area around the hotel has an historic mansion and the family home of a famous artist. Both were excellent and interesting visits.
Negative: Nothing not to like. Its not for people who are not fit enough to climb. One small point, in our room, a small shelf under the bathroom sink would be helpful to place toiletries.

Positive: Everything is very nice and well curated. The design in my room was gorgeous and functional. Excellent Housekeeping service.
Negative: I would improve the breakfast adding more choices for hot beverages. The quality of the food is high and this would just add more prestigious to the service.
Summary: Lovely and authentic property. It s a real pieace of jewellery just lime the all city.

Positive: The room was cosy and comfortable. However, the aircon blows on the bed which is not so good when you are sensitive to cold on the neck
Negative: Breakfast wasn't great though. I feel for the price we paid, I expected some more variety, better coffee and freshly baked eggs. All over overpriced.
