Summary: We stayed one night before our trip and one night after. The first one the room was was clean but tatty with a window that we could not close and peeling wallpaper in places. The second which was last night was bad , really tiny with tatty wallpaper and a very very uncomfortable bed and i took great objection to having a water proof mattress protecter on the bed , i found it insulting and unable to sleep on it so myself and my husband sat up most of the night, plus the bed was supposed to be a double but was really small with a dip in the middle. As we have a small dog i dont expect a five star room but at least a three this was a zero. We definately will not be returning

Summary: This is a good value for money hotel and couldn't be more convenient for the ferry terminal and catching the morning ferry. The room was fairly basic but clean and worked perfectly well for an overnight stop. Reception was friendly and helpful.

Summary: Good hotel in great position for the ferry terminal. Stayed many times and always found the staff in both the reception and restaurant to be friendly and helpful. Great choice of food always well prepared.

Summary: room was very small and there was no elevator, dining room staff were not very friendly, room furniture was old and dated, shower was small and awkward to get in and out, not very clean.

Summary: OK for a one night stay when you get off the ferry, as it's very close. However, the bar closes at 10pm, which isn't good timing, as that's when the ferry arrives! Rooms are small, clean and basic. Good breakfast buffet with local products.

Summary: The rooms need an update , the bathroom was tired and had a strong unpleasant smell as no plug in the sink and the shower was difficult to use . I wouldn’t recommend. But on the plus side it is pet friendly and the restaurant was very good .

Summary: A budget hotel close to the ferry. Very dated; small rooms and strange sewage smell in bathroom. Excellent location for the ferry to Portsmouth. Breakfast very good.
