Positive: We loved the room, spacious clean and had all the amenities one needs, the view was really nice. We like the fact that the breakfast was facing the view and had good variety staff was nice and helpful. We also liked that the pool did not have a lot of chemicals and was clean and fresh.
Negative: It was too quiet and people would literally shush you if you spoke in your own balcony. We did not like the spa aswell it was only for single person usage. Dinner quite expensive and not have alot of options.

Negative: Very hard to think of anything we didn’t like… It was really lovely. The only annoying thing was the chef’s timer that repeatedly beeped every couple of minutes and can be heard by the pool and in the bar and the restaurant?! Can someone please treat the chef to a quieter timer?!

Positive: We stayed at La Villa Douce for 3 nights. Overall we were pleased with our stay, on the positives the views are phenomenal and the hotel is very well located (although you will need a car to get there). The bathroom in our room was also very big and the shower worked very well! The bedrooms were clean and the beds comfortable but for such a beautiful view there were no windows to enjoy the view, we had to open a small door that led onto our balcony.
Negative: On to the negatives, the breakfast is really shocking … almost to the point where I would recommend you opt out of it if possible. It’s crowded and the produce is below average. The pool is very warm and crowded, it would be very hard to relax around the pool for the day which is why we went out to the beach every day. We tried the restaurant and were impressed we had dinner on our last night and the service and food were great. Overall I think the rooms could do with some upgrading to meet the standard of the views and restaurant.
Summary: Pleasant but I’m not sure worth the money!
