Positive: Location. Incredible view from our room. Staff. The guy on Reception was very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness. Food in restaurant was very good. Breakfast was typically French, with a good selection, albeit a little expensive at 13 euros p.p Would definitely stay again in the future.
Negative: Our room was a little tired and needed some TLC. Our sons stayed on the floor beneath us and their room had been renovated to a high standard.

Positive: I booked this hotel last minute due to a scheduling problem with our Airbnb. What a beautiful surprise! The location is a bit hard to get to- you need a car, but what beautiful views of the lake…and it was a clear evening so we could see Mont Blanc as we ate a delicious dinner on the restaurant terrace. The sangria was excellent and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Great place and we hope to return someday for more than one night.

Negative: When I make a booking and reserve a room on Booking.com, then I expect to be given that room when I arrive at a hotel. I do not expect to have to carry suitcases up 2 flights of stairs only to discover that I have been given an inferior double room with a double bed and no bath, when I had specifically booked a quadruple room, with separate beds and with a bath. When I showed the manager my confirmed booking, the best he could do was a triple room, still without bath. No apology or explanation as to why we could not have the room we had actually booked. Finally, I also do not expect to be trapped in a bathroom for 10 minutes because the antiquated lock on the antiquated door jammed and required the intervention of a workman before I could get out..
