Negative: Unfortunately, the hotel staff are not very good. For example, although the hotel had a nice name, it was definitely not of the same quality as other similar hotels I've stayed in before, which upset me and I was disappointed. Some items that weren't available in the room only arrived when I asked for them. Whereas in other İbiş hotels, everything was ready. For example, there was no soap or toothbrush. My room wasn't cleaned even once during my stay; when I asked why, they didn't answer, just said they would clean it the next day. This is not good.

Negative: However, Things you need to know about this hotel: Location? Great and accessible to some spots (mall, restaurant, shops) Service: The staff do their best to serve us. Yet, there should be an improvement in dealing with non-local visitors. I expected the communication would be guest oriented. I stayed at same hotel in other cities and found that all went beyond my expectations but this one. Room: my request was luckily granted to stay in quiet mountains overlooking room. Would really recommend you to not choose the room that facing the main road, iykyk 😁 Also, I found stain in my bedsheet (see pict), hope this can be fixed. Surprisingly, the fridge/chiller was not plugged when we checked in to our room 😮, I knew this as I pull out the chiller out of its compartment. Didn’t know this whether it is part of safety procedures?? Food: basic and not much options for westerners, as an Aussie, found it a bit disappointing given this hotel is part of int’l chain, this part should be taken into consideration. And, best time to come to Bandung is in low season. Avoid long weekend, religious holidays/festivals, as local tourists will come down and that will be so packed and you will not be enjoying your Bandung gateway in traffic.

Summary: This is for you if you are on a budget otherwise more better option are available around this area.

Positive: I liked the room configuration itself, room size is generous. Soundproofing from outside road and construction noises was actually pretty good. Staff are exceptional.

Negative: The property is dated; sheets, pillows and towels are old, and give a sense of not being clean (even if they are.) I don’t like this curved plastic configuration of the Ibis and Ibis Budget bathrooms, the plastic interiors do not ventilate well and there is mildew build up. Mini bar fridge needed a quick repair because it was givng out warm air, so was water dispenser in corridor, not keeping water cool.

Summary: Loved the room itself, great staff, but needs updating.
