Negative: Don’t waste the extra money for a ‘Water view’. Unless of course you want to see a working commercial canal. They begin working at 3:30 AM.

Positive: The rooms were nice.
Negative: The poor cell reception and not being able to get an Uber. Very difficult to get into town if you are not driving. The taxi expense was out of my budget. I reached out multiple times via email asking about transportation . It would have been nice if I had been informed. When researching on my own I found that a bus came all the way to the hotel but it didn’t say it didn’t come often. Also, we arrived on a Monday and it was raining. I asked the front desk where I could go eat they pointed to the restaurants . They failed to inform us that they offered food at the hotel and that on Mondays restaurants closed early. So we walked in the rain looking for a place to eat. With it all being closed , we went to the super market and bought cold meets and bread. We sat at the dining tables to eat. The young man at the front desk explained that it wasn’t customary to bring your own food to the restaurant. It was until then that we were told they had an opened restaurant.

Positive: Room was good, pod shower facilities were good and clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and variety. Pizza was good. Staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly Excellent location
Negative: Maybe tea and coffee facilitates but in all honestly it wasn’t a deal breaker for me.

Positive: We have stayed before. For us the location is excellent as we were visiting the Normandy coast from Carentan to Pegasus Bridge. Staff are very approachable. Breakfast is what we expected. There is always something going on in the port. There are restaurants within easy walking distance.
