Reviewer Comments: Our friends booked a larger house within the Beachwalk community but After Dune Delight was the perfect size for our family of four. The house has so many nice touches like fans in each of the bedrooms, books, games, kitchen accessories. The golf cart was wonderful to have in the community especially since our friends' house and the beach were about 1/2 mi away.

Summary: Perfect amount of space for us + 2 kids. Everyone had their own level for sleeping. High ceilings and lots of windows made it feel bigger than it is. Treetop room on third floor was beautiful. Note for younger kids: there are no true shades to darken sunlight in the two upstairs rooms. The park is a bit noisy starting around 8am and then again about 6-8pm, but it was worth it for our 7yo to walk out the door and go play. Kitchen is tiny and could use some upgrades like new cutting boards and plastic cups/dishes for kids. We were traveling with a larger group in another house so made most meals there, which made this kitchen totally livable for breakfasts/lunch. Water pressure in showers was very weak. Golf cart and shed were great. This is our 4th year at Beachwalk and first time staying in a smaller house. I’d recommend to anyone ok with the playground traffic who doesn’t need a ton of space.

The grill was spotless (which is unusual for rentals-nice!) good location across from park -the kids just ran out to play. On a dead end so not a lot of traffic. There were no instructions on how to work any of the TVs in there were three remotes for each TV which made it confusing. Then come to find out there were no batteries in the remote for the TV in the living room. I called the front desk for help and no one got back to me. There were six of us and they were only six bath towels. I would recommend at least two towels per person just my suggestion. These two complaints did not hamper our stay and I still give it five stars.

My kids loved playing there and I could see them out the window. The golf cart was amazing for going to the pool and beach. Such a great hidden community. Can’t wait to come back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of 5 (3 adults, 3 teens) stayed 4 days and three nights in this unit. It was our 5th year at Beachwalk and 5th home. Out of all the houses we were disappointed with this one. We knew it would be small and further away from the beach. That is why we always pick a unit with a golf cart. The golf cart worked, but we had to charge it after each trip around the property. It almost ran out of power twice on our way back. The kitchen is very narrow only allowing 1-2 people at a time and that is tight. I suggested more cooking skillets and possibly plastic wear with lids. There is dishes and pans, but very random. Another problem we had was the upstairs toilet. It was constantly running and overflowed once. We had to mess with it the whole stay. This was mentioned to the management. They were very concerned and would have sent maintenence over, but it was our last night and we told them to look at it after we were gone.The mattresses were not comfortable and the living room furniture was old and tired. This would be ideal for a family with younger kids since the park is across the street. The unit could use some attention and be refreshed. For our family size and needs we would not pick this unit again. Overall we LOVE Beachwalk and plan to return for years to come.

It was convenient to have the playground directly across from the property for the kids to play at. The only complaint was the one bed was coming apart and was hard and the TV remotes needed new batteries but these are very minor things that did not impact our stay too much.

They loved being across from the park and the tower room with the "treehouse" views and daybed trundle. We used the grill and the golf cart, and it all worked well. Kitchen was well stocked to cook and even do some fun baking together. House was immaculately clean and well decorated, very cozy. Good house layout for watching movies for the adults after kids go to bed. Quiet evening and morning hours in the neighborhood for a good night's rest for everyone. Highly recommend!
