Summary: We rented this home for Memorial Day 2024 weekend with 4 adults & 2 kids (6 & 3). Overall this property served its purpose for our trip, but there are some things worth mentioning. CONS: 1. When we first arrived on the property, the two keys that you retrieve from the lock box did not work on the front door (which wasn’t mentioned in the check-in instructions). I had to go around back, unlock the door to the garage & then unlock another door from the house to the garage before we were able to gain entry to the home. 2. This is supposed to be a non-smoking property & when I walked inside, the smell of stale cigarette smoke lingered in the home - I immediate had to open the windows to air it out. 3. As we were unloading our bags, I was in the two twin room, where my two boys would be sleeping & found a used cigarette butt in the closet. 4. Mentioning somewhere in the listing that there is a huge cliff in the backyard and close to the patio with no fence is needed if renting to families with kids! 4. Overall cleanliness could have been better; The unused dishes from past renters were noticeably dirty sitting in the cabinets, the covered patio area & outdoor eating area were filthy (a outdoor rug shown in the listing pictures would have been great to have but it was not there when we arrived), there was a big ant problem in the kitchen for our entire trip with nothing provided to mitigate. PROS: Great coffee maker! All Comfy beds, clean towels & easy location to town/stores

Summary: When gps starts you towards property you think trailer park. The lockbox was hard to open. Had to call Evolve for assist. The host was very difficult to reach...vm was full. Internet took a router reset to get working. Several windows are missing screens and/or have holes so watch for bees. Street light pours in back bedrooms...need room darkening shades. My mom got atracked by neighbors rooster. Back patio was hightlight with nice chairs. A/c worked great. Tv has blown speaker so very hard to hear. Sewer must back up because we could smell it when outside. Host and Property Management company gave us discount for all the issues.

Summary: This house was very nice! It's in a good neighborhood and was easy to get to. The key was easy to find and there was plenty of room for everyone. The main bedroom had an awesome shower. We did have to message the owner about towels but they were brought right away. My sister did notice the outside wasn't weeded or cleaned up but I didn't care about that. We all had a great time. The beds were some of the most comfortable we've slept in. The couch was very roomy and had warm blankets. There were games and cards to play which was nice. We rent a house every year from vrbo in Cumberland every summer and would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This is a nice home that is perfectly fine. Just not luxurious. It is clean, comfortable, and has most of what you will need during your stay. There was a brand new Ninja Air fryer and a great coffee pot. We used both of those daily. The location is great and the back patio is very nice. The host was responsive when we had a need. The home is lacking some small details that would earn it a 5 star rating. Some of the decor is modern. Some is outdated. We felt the living room desperately needs a coffee table and some lamps. The ottoman in the pic is missing. There is a nice charcoal grill but no grilling utensils. We had to use a regular fork. Cookware is sufficient. Linens are supplied but only one bath towel per person. The shower in the hall bathroom is nearly useless. NO water pressure. The new shower in the master suite is very nice! There is no washer or dryer. Overall, we had a great girls trip! With a few upgrades this place could be awesome.

Summary: We needed a close by property for a quick friends get away. Requirement was comfortable, lower cost, close to restaurants, and a good table for playing cards and a few board games. This house filled the bill. Place was clean and kitchen well stocked. We cooked breakfast and lunch and that worked out well. Good view of the lake but will be behind trees in summer. Sleeps a large group for sure. Thanks for a good stay.

Summary: We were looking for a peaceful, yet convenient place to stay for Spring Break and found it. Its close to shopping and a marina. It has a very nice view of the water. Would recommend this place for a getaway.
