Summary: Overall the stay was great and we enjoyed our time at IFC. Room and facilities were clean and comfortable, the 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and kitchen appliances were provided. We had a partial view of the pearl tower which was nice. Breakfast buffet spread was average and taste was bland. Location whilst good (connected to the high end IFC mall) - is on the quiet end of the bund.

Summary: Disappointing service for a property of this level. There was no assistance with luggage upon arrival, and the front desk staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. The room was missing basic amenities (no face towels, no laundry detergent), and the Wi-Fi did not work. When I called for help, assistance was rushed, and later calls to the front desk went unanswered multiple times. At check-out, staff at the front desk saw me and my daughter with luggage but did not offer any help. Management later acknowledged the issues, but the overall experience fell far below expectations. I chose to stay elsewhere for the rest of my trip. To their credit, management later responded to my email complaint and acknowledged the issues, but the overall service experience left a very poor impression. Given the consistent lack of attentiveness and hospitality, I decided to move to another hotel for the remainder of my stay in Shanghai.

Summary: Room is spacious and clean. The cookwares are a bit old, one of the pot handle was loose and stained. Truly enjoy having a kitchen, managed to cook twice and had morning coffees while getting ready. The room has a direct view of the Pearl Tower, extremely beautiful at night. Highly recommend this hotel and I will book it again.

Summary: The location of the hotel is excellent. The mall is just next door. Have stayed in this hotel three times. During my last stay, I thought I lost my hand phone, Cindy and her colleagues were very helpful to try to locate my phone via the Didi company. Really appreciate their help. However, the conditions of the first room given to us was not so good. There were stains in the bathroom which shouldn’t be the case. Housekeeping is lacking though the housekeep staff was very friendly when I met them along the corridor.

Summary: the bathroom hallway in room 1718 has a foul odor that is unbearable. Additionally, there is a significant amount of dust on the bedside table and kitchen floor! I have allergies, and I couldn't sleep at all last night due to constant sneezing, compounded by the unclean floors. For a hotel that claims to offer high-end service, this level of hygiene is simply unacceptable.
