Positive: Quite new rooms, good atmosphere/energy in general at this place. Good restaurant in the hotel right next to this place. Helpful staff. Good sleepover for visiting Bromo. Good value for money.

Negative: Nowhere to go around the place (except Bromo). There were no hooks to hang clothes. This was especially a problem in the bathroom, because when taking a shower everything got wet (including towel). Thin walls so we heard every word from the neighbors. Smoking allowed on the balconies.

Positive: Spacey room, hot shower, nice view, easy parking, great value for money!

Negative: Can't ask for much more at that price, but feels like there's much potential to improve with some more furniture in the room (tables, lights, plugs, etc.). Unfortunately, no hairdryer available.

Positive: The location is perfect for visiting Mount Bromo. The room is spacious and comfortable. What really stands out is how kind and helpful the staff are — they’re always available and ready to assist with anything you might need. There’s also a nice restaurant right next door, open every day for lunch and dinner, serving delicious meals at very reasonable prices.

Positive: Basic and clean. We took the jeep tour that they provide and it was great.

Negative: Just be aware you need to pay the park entrance which is 255k per person, in addition to the tour price.

Positive: The staff were very kind and even got us bowls, plates, and cutlery so we could have breakfast at the hotel. It was honestly one of the places we liked the most in Java — the mountains in the area are absolutely breathtaking. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but since it’s a mountain area it did get quite cold inside, especially at night.

Negative: The downside is the location: it’s about a 1.5-hour walk to Bromo, so you really need transport. Unfortunately, it feels a bit like a monopoly there — buggy prices are very high, and it took us a lot of effort to finally find motorbikes to take us closer to the mountains for a reasonable price.
