Positive: Very nice. There were two pools: one outside and one inside. The buffet was full of very good food, and all the staff were very accommodating. The rooms were very well appointed and lacked nothing. It was definitely a wonderful experience.

Positive: This place is a hidden gem in Chianti. Amazing place, very peaceful and beautiful. We loved it so much we wanted to extend our stay. We will come back for sure.
Negative: The place was so nice we gave it a 10, some small improvements can be done though: - The mattress is not really comfortable - AC was leaking in our room - There are some wasps by the pool, I got stung several times

Positive: Il Casello Country House was a stunning escape in the tuscan hills. The pool was gorgeous and a greta place to relax. It was a five minute walk from the bus stop and had two gorgeous vineyards near by, Vignamaggio and Casaloste - we would recommend both! The nearest town Panzano was not within walking distance but you could get the bus to it, most people had a car in the area but we managed just about without one. Full breakfast with barista coffee and freshly cooked eggs and bacon were included.
Negative: The house did not have the option to buy any food or drinks - this was fine if you had a car but was a bit tricky at times without one! Our room was a very small attic room but the bed was super comfortable and the shower was great.

Positive: It seems that this place is run by a family, which makes it authentic. The compound is lovely with comfortable rooms (with air condition) and a pool area. Breakfast is served in a common area. There are a lot of spots to sit outside. It's a great place to stay a little bit outside of Greve in Chianti and explore the region.
Negative: The breakfast menu could be a bit broader.

Positive: It was a stunning setting also considering we paid for the top room 250 euros a night. The views were spectacular and close to some eateries, Greve township just 6km away. The pool was huge deep, just a little cold in Mid June. Cute quaint setting
Negative: Late to arrive to check in as management wasn't there onsite to meet us and no signage to tell newcomers where to go, so ended up almost walking through clients rooms to find someone. The light outside was left on all night and lit the room up brightly and unable to sleep well on first night, asked management to turn off lights 2nd night but he obviously forgot so had to put towels over the window (also forgot our swimming towels so had to ask again) breakfast was very average and supplied as little as they could get away with. The two larger rooms that are very expensive (NZ $) there was no tea/coffee facilities in our room or a small fridge I understood talking to others that their rooms were quite small and a little disappointing, so understood they might not have room for a small fridge or kettle.
