Positive: The location was fabulous!! The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful! I would have loved more information on the place though. There is so much history there!

Negative: The first morning we had cool showers but only that one time, they were nice and hot after that!

Positive: We loved the atmosphere, the design, and the peacefulness. The warm attitude from some of the staff made us feel welcome, and the private chef dinner we cooked together was the absolute highlight — amazing flavors and an exceptional experience.

Negative: The bed was very soft. Our room on the second floor was quite difficult to access with luggage — and even more so from the parking area. After dark, returning to the property felt rather unpleasant — not because of the Tuscan roads (that’s normal everywhere), but because of the distance from the parking lot to the lower gate, which is the only one open at night.

Summary: A high-level Tuscan experience with an extraordinary, intimate cooking session — a must for anyone visiting here.

Positive: Our hosts were friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome. The shared spaces were beautifully maintained and inviting. Being able to pre-order breakfast the night before was a thoughtful touch, and the morning offerings were plentiful and delicious. The three-bedroom apartment was spacious, quiet, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. From the pool area, the views of the surrounding towns were breathtaking—like a watercolor come to life. Parking was also convenient and easy to access.

Negative: There was one large window in the living room that didn’t have a window covering. It would have been nice to have the option of a drape at night.

Summary: The 3 bedroom apartment is spacious and comfortable.

Positive: We stayed here to celebrate my mum’s 60th birthday after being recommended the hotel by a friend. We honestly adored everything. The room was beautiful, the grounds are stunning, the resident frogs are fabulous and a joy to watch while you take a swim in the natural pool. All the staff were amazing, especially Claudia who gave us several amazing recommendations of tours to do, things to see and local places to eat.

Negative: The property is very secluded and you need a car to access anything like a shop or nearby town / village, some might see that as a negative but it was exactly what we wanted! :)
