Positive: Carlo was exactly what you want in a host - very helpful and available but gave you space as well. Our room was immaculate, beautifully furnished with a gorgeous view. Coffee, tea always available in a cute area with chairs and a charming outdoor space also perfect to enjoy the views and sunset. The location is perfect allowing you to enjoy the countryside while also being walkable to the historic town - just a short walk through the olive groves and along a road to the walled entrance. Highly recommend.

Positive: I had a difficult time with my rental car and Carlo went above and beyond trying to help me resolve the issue. He told me, “you’re my guest.” That about sums up the care and attention he pays to the needs of his guests! The view from my room was stunning and I had a wonderful night’s rest. Don’t forget to ask about the secret path to the Cathedral and old town.

Positive: We loved everything about our stay at Il Sogno Umbro. The rooms and surroundings are incredibly cozy and inviting, and the location is so close to Orvieto that it's an easy walk into town. But the icing on the cake is the host and his family. Carlo delivers a personal service that's above and beyond anything you can expect - he does it all with a smile and a kindness that makes you feel so welcome and relaxed. We'll definitely be coming back

Positive: Lovely view. Very helpful welcoming host. Especially pick up in town after dinner. Very informative, friendly and helpful.

Negative: Nothing really. Would suggest that as no breakfast provided some cutlery and crockery would be helpful so you could utilise the excellent shared communal space which included coffee machine and fridge. Then you could make a simple breakfast.

Summary: Great host and views. Handy for lift and elevators to take you up into town.
