Summary: We did not stay at the Vecchio Frantoio; since it had a landslide. However the owner had another facility in the mountains, in the same region, that had a great view of the countryside and sea. EVERYTHING WORKED OUT WELL.

Summary: I wish I could stay more, it's a remarkable site to stay. Incredibly nice owner, perfect enviroment and a delightful restaurant !! Rooms are spacefull , landscape to fall in love with.

Summary: This hotel changed our impression of Sicily to include the beauty of the interior. We went for a hike after arriving, getting up to a lovely viewpoint above the hotel (the rocks), cooled off in the spectacular pool after, and had a delicious dinner, including vegetarian food.

Summary: Loved this hotel and was sorry to leave. The staff are friendly and welcoming even though limited English and so genuinely wanting to please. The views are stunning and the pool area lovely. Would recommend and wished I could have stayed longer. You can buy homemade wine and olive oil too. We had dinner in the evening which was a set menu of traditional food. It was lovely and very good value

Summary: When we arrived, it was fun to witness the Sunday christening party with over 150 local guests at the restaurant. After the party was over, it was just two of us for the evening and the gentlemen set a table near the fireplace and served a perfect dinner for our 10th wedding anniversary. The wine, cheeses, olive oil, meats, vegetables were excellent so fresh and above all, ALL home-made. The 5 course dinner, including hot and cold appetizers, pastas, meat secondi and desert, was fantastic and easily plenty for 4 people. The hot breakfast (bacon and eggs cook to order), cakes and espresso were also wonderful. The room and bathroom were basic and rustic. The farm and the house are set in a beautiful olive grove and the Madonie mountain views were stunning. We enjoyed the views and the walk on the self-sufficient farm-farming pigs, chicken, sheep, olive trees and vegetables. What a lovely experience on the countryside!

Summary: The place has a really rustic feel, complete with a fireplace in the dining area where we had dinner. The caponata and antipasta were great and portions were huge.

Summary: Our stay was really good, we arrived a day late and at a silly hour but the gentleman that was there to greet us was just happy that we had finally turned up. he was nothing but helpful. The evening meal hours were over but he still agreed to fix us some cold meats and cheeses as we hadn't eaten all day. The room was clean and comfortable and very spacious. The hotel is well equipped for families with children to stay. The views of the sicillian hills and country were amazing as was the food. being set in an olive grove, their olives and olive oil are all home made. some of the best we have ever tasted. Their home made wine is also very good. The meals that they serve are very traditional and consist of 5 courses, each course alone was enough to satisfy hunger but the food kept coming. Their was a wide variety of Italian style breakfast buffet each morning too. with freshly brewed coffee. overall our stay was highly enjoyable with the only downfall being that its quite difficult to find. GPS devices are quite useless in Italy, especially if you are bringing your own across continents.
