Summary: Wonderful villa with plenty of character and all the creature comforts you need including a great pool. With a view of the Dordogne and a lovely restaurant next door it’s in a great location as well.

Summary: We were two couples and four children who spent a great week in this charming and very well equipped house. It felt like a home in a positive way! The house had everything we needed including a great pool which particularly the children enjoyed, a nice view over the river as well as chairs and tables in the shadow. We would not hesitate to go back. The room in the basement was a bit humid but we did not use it as there was space enough for us elsewhere.

Summary: The property was a classic old house. It met the criteria we needed. Our stay was during a heatwave so the pool was essential. Two bedrooms were air conditioned, unfortunately the bedroom in the pigeonnerie wasn't , so when temperatures were in the high thirties it was unusable. Otherwise we had no issues, the location was suitable for us as some of the family liked to go canoeing while others used the Greenway quite a bit. We also used the adjoining tennis court. The house is very well equipped with everything necessary for self catering. All in all the property was close to perfect for us.
