Positive: The apartment is decorated very nicely and very clean. The kitchen and bath seem newly renovated and are lovely. Snacks and coffee and tea were provided.
Negative: The level of noise was difficult to deal with. We live in New York City and are used to a lot of noise. It was still difficult to sleep well even wearing earplugs and playing white noise. The noise was from a train that runs behind the house, a somewhat busy cross road, and a neighbor dog that was yapping until late at night (even though was below freezing). The train runs fairly frequently and sometimes would use its horn. The fact that the windows all had AC units in them (in Feb) likely contributes to the problem because the windows aren’t truly sealed. We had trouble getting to sleep close to midnight and were woken in the night several times. A more minor issue is that one of the bedrooms is very cold while all others are warm.

Positive: The place was GORGEOUS and had everything you would ever need. Also, it was a very short walk from some of the best restaurants in the area. There is also a new gym a block away AND access to the metro! If you come to Cleveland and want to stay in a neighborhood area close to everything(including Case Western), this unit is the place for you!
Summary: The BEST place to stay in the Cleveland University Circle area.

Positive: This house was in THE BEST location in Little Italy! A minute walk from restaurants, shops, a cool new gym and the metro station. But the real perk was the house itself, which was immaculate, comfortable and equipt with everything you'd ever need on a vacation. For a family, especially, it was SO MUCH BETTER than any hotel (and I have stayed in several in the area). And the host, Debbie, was INCREDIBLY RESPONSIVE and HELPFUL.

Definitely a comfortable and convenient home away from home just steps from restaurants but tucked in with a private off-street parking spot. I will have occasion to be back in Cleveland several times over the next several years and now I know where I will be staying (if available!).
