The cottage sets in the middle of 20 acres of forest along Crooked Creek near Atlanta, MI. (Between Gaylord and Alpena) Great for family fun or for base camp for outdoor recreation, including snowmobiles, Sno-Drifts, etc. This location is very private...but less than ten minutes from town. Wildlife abounds. The relaxing sounds of the creek provide a much needed escape. It’s ideal for nature lovers, and as such, respect for God’s creation is mandated for those who would rent our place. A "soft foot print" on our property is a must...!

Summary: Booked this place for our annual guy's ATV trip. Picked it because it was in an area of Michigan that we had never ridden in. Great location close to the trails and enough room and space on the property to easily park and off load our machines. House was well set up and very clean and organized. Gary was very helpful with any questions we had and this trip could not have gone smoother. we will definitely be back with our wives next year. Thanks

Summary: Upon arrival everything was just as expected. Property was amazing in the fact of privacy and plenty to enjoy very accommodated for staying remote.. We were blessed with northern lights from the back deck..had a great time..

Summary: This rental was absolutely amazing. Plenty of room for our family of 3 plus our small dog. We enjoyed sitting on the multilevel deck enjoying the sunset and listening to the sound of the creek. It did rain on one day but the cabin is fully stocked with family games and books we easily passed the time. We fully appreciated how well the cabin was stocked with pantry items and a wide variety of cooking pans, my husband was a big fan of the cast iron skillets. Gary is a great host, he answered all our questions promptly. When we had to adjust our plans he was easy to work with and our ensured we had a great time. All in all we had a fantastic time and will very likely be a repeat customer!

Summary: If you want to have a getaway at a very lovely home with total seclusion, then look no further. We loved this property. They have a beautiful setting with a deck right on the creek. Fished and caught small mouth bass. There is a quaint small town (Atlanta) just 5 minutes away for anything you might need. Just a beautiful place to stay and Gary (the host) was awesome. We will definitely be coming back!
