Summary: The property was slightly smaller than we had gathered from the photos. This would have been ok if the weather had been better and we could have utilised the outside space more. Its such a shame the downstairs bedroom does not have a toilet. Overall we enjoyed our stay and Jeremybwas very helpful. Turenne is beautiful and we had a lovely meal in the square.

Summary: A lovely place in a beautiful village. Accommodation was all that we expected. A pretty village to walk round which kept us fit. Lovely views all round and a good centre for exploring the surrounding countryside and villages. Didn’t seem as busy as the Dordogne so meandering around was rather pleasant. Summary: Small car recommended - drive up the hill gets quite narrow, but easy to find with directions. House is cute and functional, nice downstairs bedroom but we opted for upstairs to be closer to bathroom. Kitchen is small but servicable, we cooked great meals with produce from local markets. The outside patio and pool area are the real gems of Jeremy’s place. Stunning views, spacious pool deck with beautiful clear water, a private paradise just behind a medieval castle in a charming picturesque town. For the price, one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Can’t wait to return!

Summary: When we arrived in Turenne, we drove up the hill to the castle. Jeremy awaited us, and showed the way to the house. When you enter the red door, a surprise is revealed: the most beautiful view you can imagine. The wide terrace has a round seating area, a dining table with coloured lights and a pool with outdoor furniture to relax. The house itself is small but it has enough space for at least four people. The kitchen holds all the equipment you’ll nee, including a Nespresso coffee maker. With two bathrooms you’ll never have to fight who’s turn it is to take a shower. The downstairs bedroom is like sleeping in a wine cellar . Very cosy. The only downside is when you need to go to the toilet at night. Especially when it rains. You have to go upstairs via the outdoor staircase. We have had an amazing week and Jeremy is super helpful. The town of Turenne is one of Frances nicest villages. You definitely need to have diner at the bistro. I will surely go back to this area and stay here.
