Summary: What a great place to stay. The property was clean, had plenty of room for all and a beautiful outdoor area. The grandchildren had a great time building snowman. and sledding on the property. A highlight was our family cooking together in the well equipped kitchen Our family would definitely come back.

Summary: I stayed there with my wife and my kids last Christmas, we loved it and it was a great experience. The husband was really nice and came over for help signing in, and explained everything about the house. Location it’s kind of empty town and great for someone who wants to be away. People outside they were really nice and invited us to go back on sommer when there is more activities to do. If you are picky, then you may notice some stuff that needs more attention from the owners. Otherwise the place is amazing for a family and friends gathering.

Summary: The Markleeville home is grand; spacious, impressive and roomy. We had family staying in town for our daughter's wedding, and the home was perfectly roomy and accommodating. The wrap around deck provided plenty of space for outdoor visiting. The home was well stocked and everything worked

Summary: Beautiful house with wrap-around porch, spacious bedrooms and enough bathrooms to accommodate a bunch of beer-drinking fishermen. In short, the hard-to-please group who joined me to fish the East Carson River raved about the place! So much so we're considering returning in the fall.
